ゴールドコースの中心地から車で約15分ほどの場所にあるバーレーヘッズ。サーファーズパラダイスの賑やかな雰囲気とは一変、のんびりした空気が流れるサーファーに人気のエリアです。
今回はそんな人気エリアにある、お洒落なコワーキングスペース「Karma Collab Hub」に行ってきたのでご紹介します。
外観はこちら。大通りから少し入った静かな住宅街。
入り口がシャッターになっていて、中に入ると、そこはまるで倉庫を改装したような雰囲気。まずは受付で手続き。（料金の詳細も最後に記載しますね♪）
天井が高く抜群の開放感。大きな長テーブルがどーんと置いてあります。
ソファ席や、カフェの様な壁際の2人席も。
そして、奥にはまた別の部屋が。植物が多く、シンプルでお洒落な雰囲気。
1人1人のテーブルのスペースも十分あるので、物を思いっ切り広げても大丈夫◎
疲れたら、隣のイベントスペースでおしゃべりしたりも。ここではフリーランスや地元の人たちを集めたソーシャルイベントなどをちょこちょこ開催しているとのこと。孤独になりがちなフリーランスにとって、人との繋がりを作れる機会はとってもありがたい♡（心から・・> <）
天井には大好きなお洒落ライト。
レトロで可愛らしい1人部屋。ビデオ会議や電話などの時、集中したい時に大活躍。
キッチンスペース。冷蔵庫やレンジも自由に使えます。
そしてお仕事に欠かせないコーヒー。もちろん利用者はコーヒー飲み放題。ラテ、カプチーノ、ロングブラックなど種類も豊富で美味しい。これはポイント大♡ウォーターサーバーもありました。
清潔感のあるバスルーム。（こちらは男女共用でした）
シャワーも完備。休憩に海に行く人も多いみたい。

大きなスクリーンも用意されているので、ビデオ会議も安心です。
こちらは小さめの会議室。
他にも、陶芸や絵、DIYなど、クリエイターさん向けのスペースも。ここでワークショップを開催することもあるそう。
仕事に必要なものはしっかり揃っており、かつ、広々したお洒落な開放的なコワーキングオフィス。WIfiもサクサクでした。（大事！！）
気分によって色んな席やスペースに場所を変えられるのも嬉しいところ♡
2018年秋に設立された「Karma Collab Hub」。このコワーキングオフィスを立ち上げたCandiceさんはご自身も1年間リモートで仕事をしながら、世界を旅していたのだそう。だからこそ、ノマドワーカーのかゆいところにも手が届くような気配りがオフィスのあちこちで感じられます。

場所がサーファーズから少し離れているものの、国の計画では、このあたりまでトラムが開通する予定とのこと。もしサーファーズパラダイスに普段行く必要がないのであれば、このあたりに滞在するのもおすすめです♡わたしはゴールドコースト内を転々としましたが、このエリアが一番好きでした。ローカル感たっぷりで、人も優しく、お洒落なカフェや雑貨屋さん、マーケットもあり、そしてビーチの雰囲気ものんびりしていて素敵です。ここに住むと朝夕ふらっと海に行くシンプルに幸せな生活が日常になると思います♡
